Bacon mania refers to passionate bacon enthusiasm in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Bacon appears most frequently alongside eggs and other breakfast foods, but has also been adapted into products including bacon bubble gum, bacon band-aids, sizzling bacon flavored rolling papers, and bacon air freshener. The growing popularity of bacon has also encouraged product introductions such as bacon salt, maple bacon donuts, and baconnaise.

Bakon, a flavorful alternative to everyone’s least favorite spirit, is noticeably absent. Speaking of absent, bacon flavored absynthe is next on my list of things to make/drink.
